To Voyage Commanders

Patti Winn is a
part-time voyage commander for the BUBL Project. She has
been a teacher and coach in the Fairport Central School
District for 18 years. Mrs. Winn has taught earth
science, eight grade physical science, seventh grade
life science, chemistry nd biology. She has coached
cross-country running, track and field, and basketball.
Mrs. Winn has been twice named to Who’s Who Among
American Teachers. She earned a Bachelor of Science
degree in Biology from St. Lawrence University and a
Masters of Science in Education from SUNY Brockport.

Jaclyn Park |
Jacklyn Park recently began her teaching
career with Monroe #1 BOCES. She graduated from the
State University of New York at Cortland (2000) with a
Bachelor's of Science in Biology and Chemistry. As a
student at Cortland, she had the opportunity to study in
Belize, Central America where she explored the
phenomenons of Marine Biology at the International
Zoological Expedition. While in Belize, Ms. Park also
studied the vast rainforests and worked closely with the
native Mayans of the village of Blue Creek. Recently,
Ms. Park began her graduate work at the State University
of New York at Brockport as a candidate for a Masters of
Science Education. She is excited to share her love of
science with eager young minds and to help students to
explore the challenges and curiosities of Lake Ontario. |

Audrey Taylor has 11
years of experience as a 7th grade Life Science and 7/8
Accelerated science teacher with the East Rochester
School District. She has previously taught 4 years as a
8th grade Physical Science teacher in Mexico, NY. She
has been a Science Olympiad and
Jason Project advisor for East Rochester. She was part of a
curriculum writing team for science and computer technology
for her district. Audrey earned a Bachelor of Science degree
in Mid-Level Science Education and a Masters Degree in
Secondary Education Biology from Oswego State University. |
