Meet The Team
To Former Commanders
Peter Robson
Peter Robson is a Technology Education teacher. He received his Bachelor's and Master's Degrees from Oswego State University in Technology Education. He began his teaching career at Victor Central Schools in 1990, teaching at the middle school level. In 1993 Mr. Robson accepted a position at the Rush-Henrietta School District where he worked at Roth Middle School. Mr. Robson taught in Roth Middle School until April of 2001, when he resigned his teaching position in order to join the BUBL Project. During his time at Rush-Henrietta, he worked on an MST Goals 2000 grant which emphasized the use of multimedia tools in the classroom. His work allowed him to make presentations at the Strong Museum, The New York State Technology Education Conference and Rensselaer Polytechnic University. His work in Multimedia applications has lead to many exciting adventures and experiments within his classroom. Mr. Robson taught robotics at the Reidmann Science and Technology Institute in the summer of 2000, at Monroe Community College. He was appointed Director of the program in 2001. The camp focuses on extending students interests in, and exposure to, technologically related fields. Peter is currently working at the BUBL Project in a variety of capacities. He is a Voyage Commander and the Project Coordinator. This dual role allows him to opportunity to work in the lab with students (his favorite part) and conduct the administrative duties associated with the program.
John Costanza
John Costanza is a recently retired 6th grade teacher from the Fairport Central School District. Mr. Costanza also served as a Mission Commander at the Challenger Learning Center for 3 years and still serves as a part-time Mission Commander today. Mr. Costanza is committed to working with the youth in our community. It is his hope to engage and excite kids about the wonder and excitement of Lake Ontario.
